Nachdem ich den Film The Act of Killing gesehen hatte, musste ich das Kino wutentbrannt verlassen. Nicht nur weil ich mit einem "der schlimmsten Massenmorde des 20. Jahrhunderts" (Jochen Reinert) konfrontiert wurde, sondern vor allem, weil ich erkennen musste, dass ich durch das Ansehen des Filmes genau jene Machtverhältnisse unterstützte, unter denen dieser Massenmord stattfand.

Diesen Film zu zeigen widerspricht jeder Ethik, weil der Film jeder Ethik widerspricht. Er trägt dazu bei, dass die Täter weiterhin die Unterdrücker in ihrem Land bleiben können und er verhöhnt die Opfer und deren Angehörige. Die eindrücklichste Szene ist vielleicht jene, in der der Nachbar des Massenmörders Anwar Congo die Geschichte seines Leids erzählt. Sein Stiefvater wurde von denselben Menschen ermordet, für die er jetzt im Film noch einmal das Opfer spielen darf. Und sie sind sich einig: Seine Geschichte wird nicht erzählt w...

Von der Arbeitsreise nach Stuttgart zurückgekommen, packte ich vergangenen Donnerstag noch einmal meinen Koffer um gegen Abend nach Berlin zu fliegen, wo ich also María traf, ihren Geburtstag mit ihr feierte, dann auch gleich noch ein paar Tage blieb um auszugehen, Museen zu besuchen und in den hochwinterlichen Temperaturen Berlins zu frieren. Und natürlich um mir die Haare schneiden zu lassen und einzukaufen.

Dann nach Wien, meine lieben Freunde besuchen und das überaus spannende Spiel ansehen, ein Geselchtes im Café Alt-Wien essen und die Galerieszene erkunden.

Schliesslich Brunnhof, in den Schoss der Familie, dieselbe treffen und sprechen, die obigatorische Schitour gehen, Brunches und Mittagessen besuchen und wieder liebe Freunde treffen.

Da es ja hier ohnehin nicht mehr so bloggig sondern eher mehr so tumblrig zugeht, dachte ich mir, warum nicht gleich einen tumblr machen. Habe ich dann auch, in aller Klandestinität schon vor zwei Wochen, so als Probe sozusagen, ob ich es überhaupt schaffe, dieses Ding zu füllen. Jeden Tag einen Post habe ich mir vorgenommen, vorzugsweise ein Foto von dem was ich so mache und wo ich so bin und so begleitet von einem Wort, dass die Stimmung einfängt. Hat auch ganz gut geklappt eigentlich. Also könnt ihr euch das jetzt alle mal ansehen und die letzten zwei Wochen nachvollziehen und dann folgen und dann ein bisschen an meinem Leben teilhaben. So ihr denn wollt.

I also paid a visit to the Centre Pompidou-Metz, which is worth quite a look:

We didn't have much time to spend in it because we would not stand one hour in queue to get in and therefore arrived just about 1.5h before closing time. But it was enough to get an insight and I would say it seemed like the perfect playground for ambitious curators.

Lange hat es ja gedauert, ließ des Rätsels Lösung auf sich warten, meiner Umtriebigkeit ist sie anzukreiden, diese Wartezeit, die aber nun auch Anlass gibt, für mehr noch als obig erwähnte Auflösung. Also - und ohne nun noch weiter auf die Folter zu spannen - das rätselhafte Ding entstammt folgender Verpackung die den gedachten Zweck schon erkennen lässt, verwendet, möchte ich anmerken, habe ich es nie.

Um auf meine Umtriebigkeit zurückzukommen, die mich zuerst nach Tirol führte, von wo ich einige Eindrücke mitbrachte, dann noch nach München und auch von dort gibt es was zu sehen.

So weit, so gut, jetzt bin ich wieder in der Heimat, von hier gibt's bisher nichts zu sehen...

Jim Denevan makes freehand drawings in sand. At low tide on wide beaches Jim searches the shore for a wave tossed stick. After finding a good stick and composing himself in the near and far environment Jim draws-- laboring up to 7 hours and walking as many as 30 miles. The resulting sand drawing is made entirely freehand w/ no measuring aids whatsoever. From the ground, these drawn environments are experienced as places. Places to explore and be, and to see relation and distance. For a time these tangible specific places exist in the indeterminate environment of ocean shore. From high above the marks are seen as isolated phenomena, much like clouds, rivers or buildings. Soon after Jim's motions and marks are completed water moves over and through, leaving nothing.

Jede moderne Architektur, bei der das Lineal oder der Zirkel auch nur eine Sekunde lang – und wenn auch nur in Gedanken – eine Rolle gespielt hat, ist zu verwerfen. Gar nicht zu reden von der Entwurfs-, Reißbrett- und Modellarbeit, die nicht nur krankhaft steril, sondern widersinnig geworden ist. Die gerade Linie ist gottlos und unmoralisch. Die gerade Linie ist keine schöpferische, sondern eine reproduktive Linie. In ihr wohnt weniger Gott und menschlicher Geist als vielmehr die bequemheitslüsterne, gehirnlose Massenameise.

...sagte schon einst Herr Hundertwasser in seinem Verschimmelungsmanifest gegen den Rationalismus in der Architektur und wer mir sagen kann wer die drei Leute auf obigem Bild sind, die sich da gerade die Nasen blau frieren, der bekommt eine Belohnung.
